In 1790 one member of the extended Boase clan chose to move to Wiltshire, and by the 1840’s he was living in Malmesbury with his family and working as a Butcher. In the 1880’s his Grandson was a Butcher in Calne, also in Wiltshire. The family was not a huge one but they appear to have happily settled in the area chosen by their grandfather.
