In the 1700’s some of the family from Penzance who had made most of their money from Banking moved to Scotland. It would be wonderful to understand what prompted this move and why they chose Scotland as it seems quite a random destination to choose.  The families moved to Dundee and established a factory making Jute.

Again this line of the family prospered and links were made world wide with descendents now in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US
